Privacy Policy

Effective November 2, 2026

Boot State Technologies LLC (“Boot State Technologies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through our website at bootstatetech.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website only — services we provide under a separate agreement are governed by that agreement.

1. Who we are

We are a managed IT and network services provider (MSP) based in Egan, Louisiana, serving South Louisiana. You can reach us any time using the details in the Contact us section below.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us

When you use the contact form on our website, we collect the information you choose to provide, which may include your name, business name, email address, phone number, and the message you send. You don't have to fill in optional fields, and you can always reach us by phone instead.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting and security provider automatically logs basic technical data when you visit — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request — to keep the site running, secure, and protected from abuse. Our contact form uses an anti-spam check (Cloudflare Turnstile) that may process limited technical signals to confirm you are not a bot.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

4. How we share your information

We share information only as needed to run our business and provide the services above:

5. Cookies & tracking

We keep this simple. Our website does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics trackers. The anti-spam check on our contact form may store a small amount of data in your browser as needed to function. Your browser may let you block or clear this data; our site will still work.

6. Data retention

We keep the information you send us only as long as needed to respond to your request, provide services, and meet our legal and recordkeeping needs, after which we delete or anonymize it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Your choices).

7. Security

We take reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please avoid sending sensitive information (such as passwords or account numbers) through the contact form.

8. Your choices

You may contact us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you've shared with us, or to ask a question about this policy. If you no longer wish to hear from us, let us know and we will stop contacting you. We will respond to reasonable requests as required by applicable law.

9. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

Our site links to our sister company, BST WiFi, and may link to other third-party sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites; please review their policies separately.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the “Effective” date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be reflected here, so please check back periodically.
